Since 1957 CFUW Aurora/Newmarket has become a diverse group of women committed to education, social action and friendship which is strengthened through activities and social events.
Our Club and CFUW are committed to:
- The pursuit of knowledge
- The promotion of education
- The improvement of the status of women and human rights
- Active participation in public affairs in a spirit of cooperation and friendship

The towns of Aurora and Newmarket are centered on the longest street in the world, Yonge Street, in the Region of York immediately north of Toronto.
A UNIVERSITY DEGREE IS NOT A REQUIREMENT OF MEMBERSHIP
CFUW Aurora/Newmarket meets from September to April on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 7:30 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion, 105 Industrial Parkway N., Aurora, Ontario.
We start with a short business meeting, enjoy an informative guest speaker, then socialize afterward. The year ends with a banquet in May. Other special club events are planned throughout the year.
